The stone cottage is referred to as East Napa. Similarities between Napa Valley, California and the Leelanau Peninsula, with the rolling hills, vineyards, and the breathtaking vistas, contributed to the name East Napa.

Situated on a bluff overlooking the Manitou Passage is by far East Napa's most dramatic vista. Not only beautiful, but the Manitou Passage carries the majority of the commercial water traffic in Lake Michigan. Watching the freighters and barges maneuver northbound and southbound lends its own interest to the viewer.

The property consists of six acres with surrounding gardens and terraced stone walls that give way to wooded paths strewn in Spring with trillium and morels. The 1,000 feet driveway insures privacy, peace and tranquility for all to enjoy. The grounds adjoin thousands of acres of farmlands which harbor wildlife.

Flooring is wool carpet and tiled floors.
And a 480 square foot deck.

And a small deck, perfect respite from the afternoon sun.
